MSR-FSR is seeking a Ramp Specialist / Lead Engineer to lead decommissioning, relocation, installation and qualification of semiconductor equipment on major European projects.

The role requires extensive international travel, based long-term in Italy, France or Germany, and demands an engineering leadership background with cleanroom experience and V&M systems knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in semiconductor manufacturing or equipment services.
• Experience with transfers, installations and commissioning projects.
• Experience working in cleanrooms.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, vacuum, gas and process systems.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel for extended periods.
• EU work authorisation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Customer-focused with strong time management and organisational skills.
• Fluent English essential; Italian, French or German advantageous.

Position Overview

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Ramp Specialist / Lead Engineer to join a new exciting project for the business.

The Ramp Specialist / Lead Engineer is responsible for leading the safe decommissioning, relocation, installation, commissioning and qualification of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The role supports fab expansion projects, equipment transfers, technology upgrades and site closures, ensuring tools are installed and operational in accordance with OEM specifications, customer requirements and health & safety standards.

This is a travelling role. You will be travelling the majority of the time and based in either Italy, France or Germany for long periods of time.

Profile & Requirements

• 5+ years' experience within semiconductor manufacturing or semiconductor equipment services at level 3 standard.
• Proven experience with equipment transfers, installations and commissioning projects.
• Experience working in cleanroom environments.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, vacuum, gas and process systems.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Validdriving licence and willingness and flexibility to travel and be away for extended periods of time.
• EU work authorisation required
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Customer-focused with excellent time management and organisational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred: Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic or Semiconductor Engineering.
• Project Management qualification advantageous.
• Cleanroom and safety certifications preferred.
• Experience inelectronics,pneumatics, orvacuum systems.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, mechanical diagrams, electrical schematics, gases knowledge.
• Previous experience withsemiconductor capital equipment and understanding of industry standards and best practices for semiconductor equipment service activities.
• Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Suite.
• Fluent English is essential, both written and oral. Italian, French or German advantageous.
