Job summary

Controlled Environments Company (CEC) is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage goods in/out, stock accuracy, and on-site service delivery across customer sites in Ireland. You will work with management and cross-functional teams to ensure timely fulfilment and robust stock control.

The role requires strong IT skills, experience with WMS/ERP systems, and a proactive approach to problem solving, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. A valid driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with stock control and cycle counting in a warehouse environment.
• Proficiency with WMS/ERP systems and computerised stock management.
• Valid driving licence required; forklift licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods: check, count and store stock.
• Pick and pack customer orders within agreed timeframes.
• Maintain high housekeeping and follow safety/quality protocols.
• Operate with WMS and other systems to track stock.
• Identify problems and implement practical solutions.
• Support deliveries to local customer sites as needed.
• Perform regular stock checks and cycle counts to maintain accuracy.

Inventory Specialist

Controlled Environments Company (CEC) is a single source supplier and solutions provider to customers operating in critically clean and controlled environments. We are looking for a capable Inventory Specialist to work closely with management and cross functional teams within the organisation to help with goods in/out activities, management of critical stock items, provision of on-site services, and product distribution.

Responsibilities

• Goods Receiving to include checking, counting, and put-away of stock.
• Picking and packing customer orders to agreed timeframes and order turnaround times.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices and follow all safety, quality, and operational protocols.
• Work with a computerised WMS and other systems.
• Proactive approach to identify both problems and solutions.
• Careful and responsible use of company vehicles and equipment.
• Support with delivery of products to and around local customer sites.
• Flexibility to perform other duties as required to support our customers.
• Perform regular stock checks and cycle counting of products in warehouse with pro-active approach to maintaining stock accuracy.

Skills & Experience

• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Problem solving aptitude.
• Full driver's licence required.
• Forklift licence and prior experience highly desirable.
• Prior experience using stock control systems (ERP/WMS) with prior use of SAP an advantage.
