About the Role:

The Intern Placement provides support to the Technical Services and Manufacturing Science Group (TS/MS) in either Small Molecule or Biotech. TS/MS are responsible for providing technical support for existing manufacturing processes as well as support for commercialization and technology transfer of new processes into the Operations/Manufacturing Environment. The student will actively work in TS/MS group supporting an array of data analysis, platform development/implementation and project work. During the placement the student will be exposed to a variety of roles and functions while working as part of a cross functional team. These may include but are not limited to online Operational Support, Process Safety, Quality, Regulatory, Deviation Management and Investigation and Project Work. Working alongside the TS/MS Team will enable the student to employ their existing knowledge and to expand it further. You will also participate in training, field tours, volunteer activities and networking events that will enhance your learning and development.

Responsibilities include:

• Duties will include practical hands on involvement in supporting data analytics and/or statistics‑based tasks and any project specific activities as appropriate.
• Other activities will be flagged as required and directed by supervising staff.
• Work on challenging projects within the TS/MS function.
• Work as part of a cross functional process team.
• You will work alongside experienced professionals who will mentor and guide you throughout your placement.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
• Excellent verbal and written English language skills;
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel;
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization;
• Some base knowledge of FDA cGMPs and other applicable regulations;
• BSc. degree in Data Science/Statistics/Computing or similar.
