Job summary

Lilly Cork is offering an internship in Trial Capabilities, Portfolio Support Centralized team. The role provides administrative and technical support to the Trial Capabilities team during an 8-month placement starting January 2027.

The position is hybrid: on-site 50% in Little Island, Cork and 50% remote. You must be enrolled in a 3rd level program in a scientific or health-related field and ready to undertake student placement as part of your undergraduate studies.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in 3rd level education in a scientific or health related field and seeking student placement as part of an undergraduate program.
• Team player with good organisational, prioritisation and communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills; knowledge of Good Clinical Practices would be appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with Printing & Shipping activities.
• Upload documents in diverse systems according to team needs.
• Data entry of clinical trial information into various systems.

Trial Capabilities

Trial Capabilities Cork ensures clinical trial sites meet Regulatory and enrolment requirements which will facilitate patient enrolment in our Clinical Trials. We also support site activities through to close-out, helping deliver medicines globally.

Intern Team

The intern will join the Portfolio Support Centralized team, providing administrative and technical support to the Trial Capabilities team.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with Printing & Shipping activities.
• Upload documents in diverse systems according to team needs.
• Accountable for accurate and complete data entry of clinical trial information into various clinical trial systems throughout the life of the trial.
• Ensure appropriate archiving of documents to meet Lilly record retention policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify, communicate and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in 3rd level education preferably in a scientific or health related field and ready to pursue student placement as part of an undergraduate program or health related field and ready to pursue student placement as part of an undergraduate program.
• Candidate is capable of working as part of a team.
• Good Organisational, prioritisation and Communication Skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices would be appreciated.
