Job summary

Eli Lilly Cork is recruiting an Undergraduate Intern for Clinical Trial Digital Solutions in Cork. The role focuses on coordination, documentation, tracking, and continuous improvement of digital solutions used in clinical trials, including eCOA, BYOD, and connected devices, within a global organization.

The placement lasts 8 months with a hybrid working model (50% on-site at Little Island and 50% remote). Eligibility includes a BSc or MSc in Health Informatics or related fields, healthcare

  • Strong interest in clinical trials and healthcare innovation.
  • Ability to learn and apply digital solutions used in clinical trials.

Responsibilities

  • Support the team in maintaining trackers, documents, and project materials related to digital solution delivery.
  • Assist with coordination activities across internal teams and external partners.
  • Help prepare information for updates, reporting, and status tracking.
  • Contribute to process documentation and team resources.
  • Support meeting preparation, note capture, and follow-up on action items.
  • Assist with projects focused on improving team processes and ways of working.
  • Learn how digital solutions are used to support clinical trials.

The Clinical Central Services & Innovation (CCSI) organization is responsible for planning and supplying materials, trial support services, and innovative capabilities to support the execution of clinical trials globally across all phases of development. This group partners across functions to help operationalize trials and support portfolio needs.

The Undergraduate Intern for Clinical Trial Digital Solutions will support the team with coordination, documentation, tracking, and continuous improvement activities related to digital solutions used in clinical trials, including areas such as eCOA, BYOD, and connected devices. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in clinical operations, digital innovation, and cross-functional teamwork within a global organization.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Support the team in maintaining trackers, documents, and project materials related to digital solution delivery
  • Assist with coordination activities across internal teams and external partners
  • Help prepare information for updates, reporting, and status tracking
  • Contribute to process documentation and team resources
