Beaumont Hospital in Dublin 9 is seeking a dedicated Hospital Chaplain on a permanent contract to provide interdenominational pastoral care. The role supports patients, families and staff within a multidisciplinary team, including trauma and bereavement support.

It requires completion of QQI Level 8 Theology, CPD units in pastoral care and registration with the Healthcare Chaplaincy Board. The successful candidate will join a multi-faith environment with responsibilities across spiritual care,

Qualifications

Possess a Level 8 Theology degree (or equivalent) recognised by QQI.
Complete three Clinical Pastoral Education units and be accredited by the Healthcare Chaplaincy Board.
Registered with the Healthcare Chaplaincy Board and hold Healthcare Chaplain Certificate.
Beaumont Hospital Management Development Programme completed or willingness to undertake.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organisational abilities.

Responsabilités

Provide 24-hour pastoral care to patients, relatives and staff as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Engage in training and professional development in line with Healthcare Chaplaincy Board standards.
Coordinate with hospital leadership and chaplaincy staff to ensure service delivery and compliance.
