Childcare Minds in Rush, Leinster, invites applications for an enthusiastic early years educator. You will plan, implement and assess daily learning activities, delivering safe, fun, developmentally appropriate experiences aligned with national frameworks.

You will build strong relationships with children, families and staff, report concerns, and participate in audits to maintain high care standards. QQI Level 5 in Childcare is required.

Formación

• Must have completed a minimum full FETAC/QQI Major Award Level 5 in Childcare or related field.
• Previous working experience in childcare within a crèche environment is desirable.
• Possess a high regard for and practice good health and safety procedures at all times.
• Passionate about delivering outstanding care to children and be a committed, patient and caring person with a sense of fun and a positive outlook on life.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, implement and assess the children’s daily learning, activities and development based on their interests and needs.
• Express and deliver initiative and creativity in the planning, organising and communication of all activities and educational frameworks.
• Participate in the evaluation of the programmes to ensure the needs of the children are met.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with all children, families and staff.
• Report concerns/complaints to the supervisor/manager and advocate for children and employees when required.
• Liaise with other agencies and professionals in childcare, promoting the welfare of children.
• Represent the crèche at meetings/conferences when necessary.
• Maintain awareness of childcare concerns/issues affecting care quality.
• Maintain indoor and outdoor play and dining areas in a neat, hygienic state.
• Support management during internal and external audits/inspections.
