LinkedIn is seeking an Insights Analyst to turn complex data into clear, actionable narratives for our Sales Solutions team. This hybrid role blends home and office work to support our largest clients with data-driven insights.

You will write SQL and Python, partner with sales, product and customer success, and present compelling stories that drive value for customers across our global platform. The role requires strong communication, data storytelling, and the ability to translate analytics

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, analytics or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, customer success, sales or consulting.
  • 2+ years of experience writing and querying SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage LinkedIn’s data to create actionable insights that drive customer outcomes.
  • Write SQL/Python queries and use Excel/PowerPoint to analyze results and tell data-driven narratives.
  • Present insights to partners and clients in a business-friendly way.

Job Description

At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

As an Insights Analyst, you will leverage one of the richest proprietary data sets in the world to discover insights that help our field sales team serve our largest clients within our Sales Solutions business.

You’ll work closely with our sales team to deliver data-driven stories to drive customer value. This role requires the ability to make the complex simple by confidently articulating insights to non-technical audiences. You will be a strong partner, building trust through effective identification and communication of priorities and proactively seeking out and integrating feedback. You will provide consultative advice to LinkedIn's sales reps, identify solutions that improve efficiency and drive change management to expand the value we deliver to our customers (internally and externally). You will become an expert at using SQL to extract data from LinkedIn’s massive data warehouse and turning that data into compelling stories that help our clients become more successful.

Responsibilities
  • Leverage LinkedIn’s unique data to create actionable insights that ultimately drive our customers' business outcomes
  • Write SQL/Python queries to extract necessary data and utilize Excel and PowerPoint to analyze the results and create data driven narratives
  • Present the relevant business insights to partners and clients, communicating in a way that is the best fit for the audience
  • Approach work in an organized and systematic manner to effectively manage the delivery of assignments from partners and Insights Leaderships based on the potential impact
  • Develop deep knowledge and understanding of the industry talent trends and objectives of our customers. Use that knowledge to formulate effective insights
  • Maintain a growth mindset as we develop and grow as a team
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degreein business, operations, analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in any of the following: a role requiring data analysis, customer success, sales or consulting
  • 2+ years of experience writing and querying SQL
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer facing consultative experience
  • Experience with storytelling using data and project management
  • Experience with Git and Python
  • Experience using AI for automation or scaling analytics
  • Master in managing time and prioritizing tasks independently
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, product and customer success teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in an additional European language Spanish, German, French or Portuguese
