Job summary

Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. in Ireland seeks an Inhouse Consultant focused on Project Portfolio Management and Organizational Development within the IT Department. The role collaborates with peers across the company and sister entities to standardize project practices.

The ideal candidate brings at least two years of PM/portfolio experience, strong communication, and relevant certifications. You will lead portfolio meetings, support change management, and help digitalize internal processes.

Qualifications

• 3rd level education in business administration, project management, information systems or comparable.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in project or project portfolio management, with relevant certifications encouraged.
• Strong communication skills with presentation and moderation experience.
• Interdisciplinary process awareness and analytical thinking; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Promoting and developing internal standards for organizational projects and the project portfolio management.
• Supporting project managers in planning and management of complex organizational projects.
• Advising management and departments on project portfolio management.
• Preparing and moderating portfolio meetings, workshops, and information events relating to project management, as well as further development and coordination of project management training courses.
• Supporting organizational change during digitalization of internal value chain through sound methodological knowledge of project management, organizational development and process management.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be employed as an Inhouse Consultant with a focus on Project Portfolio Manage-ment and Organizational Development, within LCC’s IT Department. The role has touch points throughout the company and with peers working in similar and supporting roles in sister companies.

Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to the following:

• Promoting and developing internal standards for our organizational projects and the associated project portfolio management.
• Supporting project managers in the planning and management of complex organizational projects.
• Advising management and specialist departments on their project portfolio management.
• Preparation and moderation of project portfolio meetings, workshops and information events relating to project management, as well as further development and coordination of project management training courses.
• Supporting organizational change as part of the digitalization of our internal value chain through sound methodological knowledge of project management, organizational development and process manage-ment.

Qualifications, Requirements And Experience

• Completed 3rd level education in business administration, project management, information systems or comparable.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in project or project portfolio management (in-house or as a service provider), preferably with relevant certifications (e.g. Scrum Master/Product Owner, PMA/Prince2/PMP).
• Perceptiveness for interdisciplinary processes and analytical thinking skills as well as a high degree of team spirit.
• Strong communication skills with presentation and moderation experience as well as
• Ideally further training and qualifications (e.g. business coach or change management).
