Fortis Recruitment client seeks an Operational Finance Lead to join the projects team, delivering real-time analysis and feedback to the Operational Finance Director for multiple data-centre projects across Ireland and the UK.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
• Cost analysis experience.
• Experience supporting or working within project-based finance.
• Exact attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Highly motivated, able to manage multiple tasks with strong team collaboration skills.
• Previous use of Power BI is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the financial performance of multiple projects.
• Support the PMO team with project budgets, forecasts, cashflow projections, and profitability analysis.
• Review and audit project cost tracking.
• Review and audit costs on smaller-scale projects.
• Ensure accurate allocation of costs and revenues to individual projects.
• Maintain audit files for internal and external audit purposes.
• Support the monthly revenue recognition process, including WIP (Work in Progress) calculations and accruals.
