Job summary

Marks Sattin in Dublin is seeking an Associate for its Financial & Corporate Advisory team. This early‑career role offers exposure to international infrastructure, project finance and corporate advisory transactions, working closely with senior advisers and a broad range of stakeholders.

The role involves delivering complex advisory projects, building sophisticated financial models, conducting scenario analyses and supporting business development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance or equivalent.
• 1–3 years’ experience in a finance, advisory or analytical role; exceptional fresh graduates may also be considered.
• Strong financial modelling skills.
• Some understanding of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP).
• Experience or exposure to infrastructure/project finance is preferred.
• Background in an international bank, investment/development fund, infrastructure developer, investor or financial/corporate advisory environment would be advantageous.
• CFA completion would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of complex financial and corporate advisory projects
• Developing and analysing sophisticated financial models
• Conducting scenario and sensitivity analysis
• Supporting project finance and investment analysis
• Conducting business valuations and due diligence
• Preparing reports, presentations and information memoranda
• Researching sectors, markets, clients and competitors
• Supporting business development and proposal preparation
• Working directly with clients and other project stakeholders
• Developing an understanding of commercial and contractual considerations within project finance
• Supporting negotiations with banks, financial institutions, contractors and other third parties
