Walkers Global in Dublin seeks an ambitious Associate to join its Finance & Capital Markets group. You will work on big-ticket, cross-border transactions for blue chip clients in Ireland and globally, alongside partners and fee earners across Ireland and overseas offices.

The role targets Newly Qualified lawyers or up to 5 years PQE with experience in finance, structured finance or debt capital markets; strong academics, drafting and client-facing skills are required, with a high standard of

Strong academic credentials
Excellent analytical, technical and drafting skills
A high level of commercial and business awareness
Ability to work independently and as part of a high performance team
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proven track record in managing competing priorities and deadlines

Responsibilities

Work on a broad range of debt capital markets and structured finance transactions
Advise clients on finance, securitisation and related matters
Collaborate with partners and fee earners in Ireland and overseas offices
Contribute to cross-border, multi-jurisdictional deals
Support career development and mentoring within the team
