Job summary

ESB is seeking an experienced Planning & Reporting Specialist Lead to join the Programme Coordination Team in Dublin. You will provide strategic leadership and coordinate across a major portfolio of infrastructure projects, enabling effective decision-making and continuous improvement.

The role supports ESB’s net-zero and energy transition goals, with smart working and hybrid arrangements. Travel within Ireland and Dublin City Centre base.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in programme or project management.
• Experience with large infrastructure or capital investment programmes.
• Ability to influence across multiple stakeholder groups and organisational boundaries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; translate complex information into business insights.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Power BI and SAP.
• Experience in regulated infrastructure environments.
• Professional PM qualification (PMP/PRINCE2/MSP) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support the Programme Coordination Manager through issue escalation, strategic initiatives and leadership across the wider Programme Coordination Team.
• Provide leadership to the Planning & Reporting function and coordinate programme activities across the Networks Projects portfolio.
• Lead coordination across delivery teams to ensure alignment of resources, milestone reporting, project priorities and programme objectives.
• Provide strategic programme insights, delivery analysis and recommendations to support informed decision making by management.
• Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including ESB Networks, EirGrid, the Project Controls Office and supporting business functions.
• Identify, escalation and support resolution of programme-level risks, constraints, dependencies and resource challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance programme performance, planning capability, reporting and delivery efficiency
