Job summary

Ramboll Ireland seeks an experienced Cost Manager to lead cost planning, forecasting and commercial performance on nationally significant D&B infrastructure programmes in Ireland, including metro, aviation, rail, water and highways. Qualifications

• Experience in cost management or quantity surveying on major infrastructure or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of cost planning, estimating, and cost control processes.
• Experience with NEC4 contracting and commercial management practices.
• Ability to manage budgets, forecasts and financial reporting.
• Understanding of change management, including variations and claims.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• Degree or equivalent; MRICS preferable.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost planning, forecasting and reporting across major infrastructure projects.
• Monitor expenditure and performance against approved budgets.
• Support procurement activities, including cost input to tendering and contract evaluation.
• Administer and manage contracts in line with NEC4 and other frameworks.
• Assess and manage change, variations and claims.
• Provide cost advice and commercial insight to project teams and stakeholders.
• Contribute to risk management and contingency planning.
• Coordinate cost reporting and ensure governance and audit trails.
