Job summary

PFH Technology Group is seeking a technical writer with a strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure. You will work with technical SMEs, architects and operations teams to produce high-quality documentation including runbooks, design documents, policies, standards and DR documentation.

The ideal candidate translates SME knowledge into clear, structured, executable documentation and supports IT operations with comprehensive governance materials.

Qualifications

• Experience translating SME knowledge into clear, structured documentation.
• Ability to create runbooks, design documents and governance policies.
• Comfort working with architecture and operations teams on complex infra environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical runbooks, design documents, policies and procedures.
• Produce Disaster Recovery documentation and operational checklists.
• Create high-level and low-level designs and build/configuration standards.

Job description

We are seeking an Technical writer who understands infrastructure with a strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and operations. The successful candidate will work directly with technical SMEs, architects and operational teams to develop high-quality technical documentation, including runbooks, design documents, policies, standards, procedures and Disaster Recovery documentation.

The role requires sufficient technical knowledge to understand complex infrastructure environments, challenge incomplete information and independently translate SME knowledge into clear, structured and executable documentation. Strong knowledge of Infrastructure, Cloud, IT Operations and Disaster Recovery concepts is highly desirable.

Documentation will include:

• Technical runbooks and operational procedures
• High-Level Designs (HLDs)
• Low-Level Designs (LLDs)
• Build and configuration standards
• IT policies and standards
• Disaster Recovery and recovery procedures
• Service and system documentation
• Operational checklists
• Technical control and governance documentation
