Job summary

Partner Company, in partnership with Jobgether, seeks an Infrastructure Engineer – Vulnerability, DevOps & Automation based in Ireland. The role focuses on securing large-scale Windows and Linux infrastructure, leading remediation and automated patching across production and non-production environments.

You'll work with DevOps teams, risk management, and IT stakeholders to ensure systems remain secure, compliant, and efficiently patched, while driving automation and continuous improvement across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong infrastructure engineering experience with Windows Server and Linux Server environments.
• Demonstrated DevOps practices and Git-based workflows.
• Hands-on infrastructure automation with Ansible or similar tools.
• Proven experience in infrastructure vulnerability identification and remediation.

Responsibilities

• Lead vulnerability remediation across Windows and Linux servers.
• Plan automated OS patching for production and non-production environments.
• Collaborate with IT stakeholders to validate systems before/after patching.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies to prioritize remediation work.
• Contribute to ServiceNow change requests and documentation.
• Develop and improve automation to make remediation scalable and repeatable.
