Qualifications

• Continuous membership in the Irish Nursing and Midwifery Board.
• Graduate Study in Gerontology.
• One year of IPC experience is preferred.
• One year of experience as a clinical nurse manager is preferred.
• Prior experience providing elder care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Registered Nurse or Nursing Director with daily household management.
• Oversee IPC protocols and resident safety initiatives.
• Encourage team members by setting goals and conducting performance reviews.
• Be in charge of overseeing care personnel and HR-related matters.
• Ensure training on resident protection and whistle-blowing.
