Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an Industrial Team Lead in Ringaskiddy, Cork, on a full-time basis. The role offers 39 hours per week and a salary of €18.50 per hour, with free onsite parking and a benefits package.

You will manage daily operations, supervise a team, and uphold high cleaning standards while promoting a strong safety culture. Applicants should have pharmaceutical industry experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and be ready for overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Industrial Cleaning Team, ensuring schedules and staffing meet client site requirements.
• Supervise and support the team, including recruitment, induction, training, motivation, performance management and appraisals.
• Maintain high cleaning standards, carry out regular spot checks and cleaning duties as required.
• Promote a strong Health & Safety culture, managing incidents and safety metrics per policies.
• Ensure COSHH, hygiene, fire, security and safe-working procedures are followed.

What you’ll do:

• Manage daily operations of the Industrial Cleaning Team, ensuring schedules and staffing meet client site requirements.
• Supervise and support the team, including recruitment, induction, training, motivation, performance management and appraisals.
• Maintain high cleaning standards, carrying out regular spot checks and cleaning duties when required.
• Promote a strong Health & Safety culture, managing incidents, accidents, hazards and safety metrics in line with company and client policies.
• Ensure compliance with COSHH, hygiene, fire, security and safe-working procedures, including the correct use and maintenance of equipment.
• Manage staffing and payroll, including holiday/absence cover, payroll administration and maintaining accurate personnel and training records.
• Communicate effectively with the team and client, including daily/weekly meetings, action tracking, reporting and sharing safety updates.
• Maintain accurate documentation and site standards, including cleaning records, reports, logs, stores, equipment and material usage.

Requirements

• Safe Pass & Manual Handling Certification.
