Job summary

Sophia Nurturing Centre in Dublin 8 is recruiting an AIM Support Worker to join our team. The role focuses on supporting a child with additional needs to fully participate in our early years programme at 16 hours per week during the school term.

The successful candidate will promote inclusive practices, assist with daily activities, and contribute to observations and documentation. Qualifications include Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education, with strong communication skills and team

Qualifications

• A minimum qualification of Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education.
• Experience and skills in inclusive practice and supporting children with additional needs.
• Knowledge of Aistear and Síolta is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support and promote a positive child-centered and strengths-based approach to early learning and inclusive practice within our Early Years service.
• Contribute to creating an environment where children can meaningfully participate in daily activities and routines.
• Contribute to observations and documentation as required.
