Job summary

Galway Childcare is seeking two AIM support members to work in an open-flow, play-based pre-school service in Galway. Shifts run from 08:50 to 13:30 (with 11:50 end for some staff), five days a week during the school term.

Responsibilities include supporting children’s educational, emotional, social and physical development, collaborating with parents and professionals, and helping maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 5 in childcare and be willing to acquire first aid, manual handling and other required training.

Job description

Vacancy for 2 AIM support members to work throughout an open-flow, play based pre-school service. Working with all children mostly, with some one-to-one if required. 08:50am to 13:30pm and 08:50am to 11:50am five days per week during school term.

Requirements

To be responsible, respectful, fun caring and energetic. To have a minimum qualification of Level 5 in childcare and be willing to acquire first aid, manual handling and other required training.
