Job summary

FMI is seeking an In-House Training Specialist to design, deliver and evaluate engaging training for our sales campaigns in Dublin. You will support Electric Ireland, eir, and other FMI campaigns, delivering induction, product, process and CRM training while creating materials and coaching teams.

You’ll work with operational managers and client stakeholders to drive learning outcomes, ensure compliance and report on progress.

Qualifications

  • Experience in training, learning & development or sales-coaching.
  • Experience delivering training in contact centre, telesales, field sales or customer service.
  • Strong induction, product, process, systems and sales training delivery.
  • Confident training employees on CRM and operational systems.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation and coaching skills.
  • Ability to turn complex information into clear, practical learning.
  • Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging induction and new-starter training programmes.
  • Deliver product, process, sales, customer-service and CRM systems training.
  • Support Electric Ireland, eir and FMI campaigns with ongoing learning and development.
  • Create high-quality presentations, learner guides, assessments and training materials.
  • Manage new-starter training through induction, assessment, accreditation and nesting support.
  • Deliver sales coaching, refresher training and targeted performance-improvement programmes.
  • Analyse quality, sales and operational performance to identify training needs.
  • Work with client stakeholders on knowledge transfer, training updates and campaign requirements.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and provide reporting on learner and programme outcomes.
  • Ensure training aligns with FMI policies, client standards, quality and compliance.

Job description

Are you an experienced trainer who enjoys developing people, improving performance and bringing learning to life?

FMI is looking for an In-House Training Specialist to design, deliver and evaluate engaging training across our sales campaigns.

This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on supporting our Electric Ireland contact-centre campaign, while also providing training and development support across eir contact-centre and field-sales teams and other FMI campaigns. You’ll work closely with operational managers, team leaders, quality teams and client stakeholders to ensure our people have the knowledge, skills and confidence to succeed.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and deliver engaging induction and new-starter training programmes.
  • Deliver product, process, sales, customer-service and CRM systems training.
  • Support Electric Ireland, eir and other FMI campaigns with ongoing learning and development.

  • Manage new-starter training through induction, assessment, accreditation and nesting support.

  • Work directly with client stakeholders on knowledge transfer, training updates and campaign requirements.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and provide clear reporting on learner and programme outcomes.
  • Ensure training remains aligned with FMI policies, client standards, quality and compliance requirements.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a training, learning & development or sales-coaching role.
  • Experience delivering training in a contact centre, telesales, field sales, customer service or sales environment.
  • Strong experience delivering induction, product, process, systems and sales training.
  • Confidence training employees on CRM and operational systems.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation and coaching skills.
  • The ability to turn complex information into clear, practical and engaging learning.
  • Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder-management skills.
  • The confidence to work independently and take ownership of training outcomes.

It Would Be Great If You Also Have

  • Experience in energy, utilities or telecommunications.
  • Experience supporting both contact-centre and field-sales teams.
  • Experience working in a client-facing outsourced-services environment.
  • A recognised training or Learning & Development qualification.
  • QQI Level 6 Train the Trainer or equivalent.
  • Experience with learning-management systems or virtual training tools.

Salary: €45,000 - €52,000 DOE

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Working arrangement: Primarily office-based, with some travel to FMI offices, client locations and field-sales teams as required

Reports to: Head of Contact Centre and Field Sales Operations
