Job summary

Panda is offering an in-house Legal Executive role in Dublin. You will work directly with the in-house solicitor, handling a busy personal injury and defence litigation caseload and coordinating with insurers, engineers and witnesses.

The role offers significant exposure to litigation, with opportunities to work closely with solicitors, barristers, insurers and senior stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience as a Legal Executive or in a similar litigation role.
• Strong experience in personal injury, commercial or defence litigation.
• Experience preparing court documents and knowledge of the Irish courts.
• Experience with Circuit Court and High Court litigation is advantageous.
• Strong organisational and diary-management skills.
• Excellent drafting and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of a busy personal injury and defence litigation caseload.
• Prepare court and trial documentation, including pleadings, hearing booklets, briefs for counsel and supporting documentation.
• Manage litigation diaries, deadlines, motions, consultations and hearings.
• Arrange medical examinations, engineer inspections, site inspections and other expert appointments.
• Liaise with external solicitors, barristers, medical experts, engineers, insurers and witnesses.
• Attend court with the in-house solicitor as required.
• Assist with discovery and organisation of company records and documentation.
• Obtain witness statements, accident documentation and CCTV from internal departments.
