Job summary

Panda Ireland is seeking a Legal Executive to join the in-house Legal Department in Dublin. You will work directly with an in-house solicitor and manage a busy personal injury and general defence litigation caseload, with exposure to solicitors, insurers and experts.

The ideal candidate has at least five years’ experience as a Legal Executive or similar, strong IT skills (Word, Outlook, Excel), and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach to court documentation and diary management.

Qualifications

• Five+ years' experience as Legal Executive, Legal PA or Legal Secretary in a litigation environment.
• Strong experience in personal injury, commercial or defence litigation.
• Experience preparing court documents and knowledge of the Irish courts system.
• Experience with Circuit Court and High Court litigation is advantageous.
• Strong organisational and diary-management skills with ability to monitor multiple deadlines.
• Excellent drafting, communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a busy workload independently.
• Strong IT skills with Word, Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management and progression of busy personal injury and defence litigation caseload.
• Prepare court and trial documents including pleadings, briefs for counsel and supporting docs.
• Manage litigation diaries, court dates, deadlines, motions and hearings.
• Arrange medical examinations, engineer and site inspections and other expert appointments.
• Liaise with external solicitors, barristers, insurers and witnesses.
• Attend court with in-house solicitor when required.
• Assist with discovery and collection of company records.
