Job summary

Cpl Group is seeking a Legal Executive or Legal Analyst to join its in-house Group Legal Department on a permanent basis. Working alongside the Senior Legal Counsel and wider Group Legal Team, the successful candidate will provide practical, commercially focused legal support across the Group.

The role suits a highly organised individual who can support a varied legal workload, work closely with stakeholders and help balance legal risk with commercial objectives.

Qualifications

• Law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
• Minimum of 4 years prior legal experience gained in-house or within a law firm.
• Strong drafting, reviewing, research and issue-spotting skills with experience supporting commercial contracts.

Responsibilities

• Review, mark up and assist with customer, supplier and other commercial agreements.
• Assist with contract templates, guidance notes, clause banks and playbooks; support negotiation positions.
• Support corporate governance and group reorganisation matters, including entity records and board/shareholder documentation.
• Assist with claims, disputes and case management, coordinating with internal and external advisers.
