Job summary

Fulcrum Digital Inc is seeking a skilled .NET Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain C# / .NET applications across web, desktop, or backend services. You will write clean, well-documented code and participate in architectural discussions.

Collaborate with product owners, designers, and QA throughout the SDLC, conduct code reviews, and help resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical debt while leveraging RESTful APIs, microservices, and modern .NET ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET/.NET Core (3+ years).
• Experience with ASP.NET Core for building web APIs or MVC applications.
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Experience with Entity Framework Core or similar ORM frameworks.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest).
• Version control using Git (branching strategies, pull requests).
• Understanding of REST API design and consumption.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain C# / .NET applications (web, desktop, or backend).
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to design decisions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, designers, and QA throughout the SDLC.
• Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure quality.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical debt.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs, microservices, and third‑party systems.
• Work within Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives).
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and .NET ecosystem updates.
