Job summary

Spencer Ogden is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to shape the electrical backbone of Europe’s hyperscale data centres in Dublin. You will lead LV/MV distribution, UPS and standby generation design for hyperscale and colocation projects, with hybrid work arrangements.

You will also run power studies, mentor junior engineers and influence technical standards within a fast-growing consultancy, working directly with founding Directors on cross-border projects across Europe.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ electrical building services experience.
• 3+ years on data centre or mission‑critical projects.
• Strong LV/MV distribution, UPS and standby generation knowledge.
• MV power systems studies experience (ETAP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead LV/MV, UPS, generation and switchgear design.
• Deliver hyperscale, colocation, fit‑out and retrofit projects.
• Run power studies: load flow, short circuit, selectivity.
• Mentor Intermediate and Graduate engineers.
• Influence technical standards in a fast‑growing consultancy.
