Job summary

PetSafe Brands is seeking a QA / Automation Engineer (Hybrid) to verify feature quality across DTC eCommerce websites and to develop automated test scripts supporting web and API test coverage. The role collaborates with QA, product managers, and developers to improve software quality and extend automated testing across PetSafe’s DTC brands.

You will work with Java-based tests (TestNG, Selenium), Playwright API tests, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), ensuring regression coverage and responsible

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of QA experience.
• Proficient in Java for test automation (TestNG).
• Familiarity with Selenium WebDriver for web automation.
• Familiarity with Playwright for web and API automation.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Verify features against acceptance criteria across DTC web and mobile web platforms.
• Create, execute, and maintain manual regression and functional test cases.
• Document defects with steps, evidence, and environment details.
• Perform test execution and exploratory testing on PetSafe’s DTC sites.
• Identify test cases suitable for automation and contribute to automation efforts.
• Communicate results and defect status to developers and product managers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint processes.
