Job summary

Kurgo is seeking a QA professional to join our team and ensure our DTC web and mobile platforms meet acceptance criteria. You will verify features, document defects with reproducible steps, and contribute to test strategy across products.

You will write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Java-based frameworks (TestNG, Selenium) and Playwright, running in Jenkins CI/CD across Development, UAT, Staging and Production environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with manual regression and functional testing across web and mobile platforms.
• Strong automation scripting with Java and Playwright/Selenium.
• Familiar with CI/CD workflows (Jenkins) and test automation frameworks.

Job Type Full time PetSafe Brands EU Headquarters is in Dundalk, Louth. Where's that you say? Dundalk, County Louth, enjoys a great location, strategically located approximately midway between the two largest cities in the island of Ireland, Belfast and Dublin. It is just 50 minutes from Dublin airport. Dundalk is one of the most historical parts of Ireland with Louth known as 'land of legends'. QA Tasks & Ticket Verification

Work closely with the QA lead to verify features against acceptance criteria across DTC web and mobile web platforms. Write, execute, and maintain manual regression and functional test cases. Identify and clearly document defects with reproducible steps, supporting evidence, and environment details. Perform test case execution and exploratory testing across PetSafe's DTC eCommerce websites (PetSafe, IFB, Kurgo, SportDog). Contribute to test analysis and identify test cases that are strong candidates for automation. Communicate test findings and defect status clearly to developers, product managers, and the SQA team. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Automation Development & Execution

Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile web platforms under the guidance of the Sr. Automation Engineer III. Write and maintain Java-based test cases using TestNG and Selenium WebDriver within the DTC web automation framework. Configure basic TestNG XML suite definitions. Run Maven builds and understand dependency management basics. Write and maintain Playwright-based automated API tests for eCommerce integrations and third-party services. Run automated test suites locally and via Jenkins CI/CD pipelines across Development, UAT, Staging, and Production environments. Read and interpret SQL JDBC query results for basic backend data validation. Report pass/fail status for each feature release including regression and automation execution outcomes. Document automation failures with clear, reproducible steps and elevate blockers to the Sr. Automation Engineer III. Interact with the GitHub repository using branching workflows, pull requests, and version control best practices.
