Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical, mechanical, civil or environmental engineering (2.1 or above).
• Strong analytical ability and data handling skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to simplify technical topics.
• Initiative, curiosity and quick learning; right to work in Ireland.
• Internships or project experience in energy are advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering design and technical reviews for wind, solar and BESS projects.
• Prepare energy yield assessments and site evaluations.
• Assist with grid connection applications and coordination with EirGrid/ESB Networks.
• Review technical submittals from EPC contractors and suppliers.
• Support construction and commissioning with travel to sites across Ireland.
• Analyse performance data from operating assets and propose improvements.
• Contribute to tools, templates and standards used by the engineering team.
