Job summary

Version 1 is hiring an Oracle E-Business Financials Functional Consultant to lead transformation of public sector ERP systems. You will drive workshops, map current to future processes, define functional solutions, and support full lifecycle delivery within Oracle EBS 12.2.

This role requires UK/IE government domain experience, strong stakeholder engagement, and Oracle certifications. Hybrid working with occasional travel is offered; Irish security clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Experience facilitating workshops and engaging senior business stakeholders.
• Strong requirements gathering, business analysis and process mapping skills.
• Minimum 7 years' Oracle consulting experience.
• At least two Oracle EBS implementations, upgrades or migration programmes delivered successfully.
• Experience with OBIEE and BI Publisher.
• Local Government or Central Government experience.
• Experience working within complex transformation programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops with business and technical stakeholders to understand existing processes and requirements.
• Analyse current Financials and Procurement operations and map future-state solutions within Oracle EBS 12.2.
• Drive process mapping, process redesign and business transformation initiatives.
• Conduct gap analysis and identify opportunities for efficiency and automation.
• Develop functional solutions that address operational challenges and business pain points.
• Produce ERP landscape and process documentation.
• Support the full implementation lifecycle, including design, testing, training and deployment.
• Provide functional guidance during go-live and post-implementation support.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, helping them understand the capabilities and limitations of Oracle EBS.
