Job summary

Mater Private Network in Ireland seeks a skilled Hybrid IT Support Engineer to lead upgrades, migrations and infrastructure enhancements across hospital sites and remote support. You will ensure availability, security and performance of clinical and non‑clinical IT systems, including EHR and regulatory compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree, diploma or equivalent in Information Technology or related discipline.
• 3+ years' experience in IT Support, Service Desk, Desktop Support, or Infrastructure Support.
• Full driving licence may be required for multi-site hospital support.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support across hospital and healthcare environments.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, printer, and application issues.
• Manage incidents and service requests through ITSM platform.
• Escalate complex issues to specialist teams when needed.
• Participate in on-call and out-of-hours support when required.
• Support EHR, PAS, and clinical applications during outages or maintenance.
• Configure and manage Windows server environments; support backup and DR processes.
