Job summary

TE Connectivity in Galway, Ireland, invites applications for Senior Manager Advanced Engineering (f/m/d). This role reports to the CTO and steers the global Advanced Technology team, shaping technology roadmaps and driving rapid prototyping for TE Medical across sites.

The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams, partner with Sales and Operations, and drive early-development initiatives while ensuring scalable manufacturing readiness and strong customer engagement.

Qualifications

• An engineering degree or higher level of qualification from an accredited university.
• 10+ years industry management experience in a medical product development environment desired.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% as required to support a global organization
• Experience leading technical teams >15 people

Responsibilities

• Lead the global Advanced Engineering team across all aspects, from creating roadmaps to executing projects, meeting KPIs.
• Drive the global PROPELUS operating model for prototype and early-development opportunities, ensuring fast customer response and on-time execution.
• Increase number of key early-stage development projects, create relationships with key customers, drive project execution with NPD and operations.
• Guide the team in applying state-of-the-art technologies to deliver optimal solutions.
• Partner with Sales, Product Management, Operations and Project Management to align early-development priorities with customer needs and manufacturing opportunities.
• Work closely with HR to strengthen the engineering team's capabilities and depth.
