Hybrid FP&A Analyst – Global Functions Partner

Job summary

Teleflex Incorporated invites applications for a Senior Financial Analyst based in Athlone, Ireland, on a hybrid basis. The role supports financial planning, analysis and business partnering across Global Functions, reporting to the Finance Manager.

Key duties include monthly results, close, budgeting and forecasts, and strategic planning inputs. Strong FP&A, US GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel are essential; Power BI experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics, or equivalent experience.
• Finance experience including FP&A and business partnering in a multinational environment.
• Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).
• Experience preparing budgets, forecasts and month‑end reporting with variance analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, independently and in a team.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills; ability to structure and solve problems.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups and modelling) and proficiency in PowerPoint/Word; SAP, Hyperion/PBCS or other EPM tools; Power BI an advantage.
• Strong communication skills to translate financial data for non‑finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial results for Global Functions cost centres with variance commentary.
• Manage monthly/quarterly close with journals, accruals and reconciliations.
• Partner with function leaders to provide financial analysis for decisions on investment, headcount and cost.
• Prepare annual operating plan, forecasts and strategic plan inputs.
• Identify and resolve financial issues, support cost reduction and cross‑functional initiatives.
• Prepare management presentations and ad hoc analysis with Finance Manager.
• Contribute to standardisation, automation and improvement of reporting and processes.
• Maintain internal controls and support audit requirements under US GAAP.
