Job summary

Alloy Enterprises is seeking a qualified Service Engineer based in Dublin. You will be responsible for commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial chillers and heat pumps.

Your role is vital as the primary contact for technical service issues, working primarily with major clients in the pharmaceutical and high-tech sectors. The position requires a Refrigeration F-GAS 2079 Certificate with experience in ammonia being advantageous.

Qualifications

You will have a Refrigeration F-GAS 2079 Certificate.
Ammonia Experience would be a distinct advantage.
Relevant Trade Qualification in Refrigeration.
Safe Pass Card & Manual Handling Certificate required.
Qualified to a minimum of NFQ 5.
Familiar with Water-cooled and Air-cooled Chillers.
Commissioning Experience on large ton Centrifugal and Screw chillers preferred.
Experience with major Chiller manufacturers is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Provide up to date site surveys, records, and reports.
Carry out commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Be the primary contact for all technical service issues.

Job description

What you will do

You will provide up to date site surveys, records, and reports regarding works completed and actions needed to aid quoting of new or replacement equipment. Your main role is to carry Commissioning, servicing, trouble shooting, and maintenance of Industrial water/air cooled Chillers and Heat pumps.

As a Service Engineer, you are the primary contact for all technical service issues, accountable for resolving highly complex systems within a set timeframe and according to a defined process, service agreement and customer needs.

You will be working mainly with the company’s largest customers in the Leinster area, predominantly within the foreign direct investment sector of Pharmaceutical, Life science and High Tech Clients.

Health and Safety will be at the forefront of everything you do. Although often working without accompaniment you will be part of a team and contribute towards its success.

What we look for

You will have a Refrigeration F-GAS 2079 Certificate.
Ammonia Experience would be a distinct advantage.
Relevant Trade Qualification in Refrigeration, or A qualified industrial electrician willing to cross train on the York Chiller and heat pumps.
Safe Pass Card & Manual Handling Certificate
Qualified to a minimum of NFQ 5
Familiar and capable of delivering Service/Maintenance and repair of Water-cooled and Air-cooled Chillers
Commissioning Experience on large ton Centrifugal and Screw chillers and heat pumps would be a distinct advantage but factory training will be provided.
Have experience with major Chiller manufacturers such as York/ Sabroe/ Trane/ Carrier/ Daikin.
Capable of working without detailed procedures and with limited supervision.
Full Clean Irish Driving License
