Job summary

Sirus is a member of the SAUTER Group in Cork is looking for an HVAC/Projects Engineer to manage installation, commissioning, and validation of HVAC systems in controlled environments. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance, performing system validation, and mechanical maintenance of critical HVAC equipment. The role offers training opportunities and excellent professional growth within the company.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant technical qualification and experience in HVAC and building services. This position is based in our Cork office, with some travel as required.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical qualification (Engineering, Building Services, Refrigeration, Project Management or similar) – preferred.
• Experience in HVAC, mechanical, building services or related environments, with willingness to learn and develop.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls and mechanical installations.

Responsibilities

• Perform validation of fume cupboards, microbiological safety cabinets, and laminar airflow booths.
• Conduct Air Cleanliness Classification assessments for cleanrooms.
• Install and integrity test HEPA filters and HVAC systems.
• Provide mechanical maintenance for critical HVAC equipment.
• Optimise system performance for energy efficiency.
