Job summary

Airflow Services Ltd. in Ireland is seeking an Installation Technician to install and commission HVAC systems across retail, commercial, and pharmaceutical environments.

You will handle pipework, electrical works, site surveys, and commissioning reports, ensuring compliance with safety standards and customer expectations. This role offers ongoing learning, career development, and a supportive team culture within a global group.

Qualifications

• Relevant City & Guilds qualifications or equivalent certifications.
• Proven experience in the full installation of HVAC systems.
• Experience with DX systems, VRF/VRV systems, AHUs, and ventilation plant.
• Ability to interpret electrical and fluid schematics, piping diagrams, and psychrometric diagrams.
• Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission split and multi-type air-conditioning systems.
• Carry out installation work including pipework, bracketry, cabling, and associated mechanical and electrical works.
• Complete and maintain accurate site surveys, commissioning reports, and installation records.
• Support the quotation process by identifying remedial, replacement, or upgrade opportunities.
• Liaise effectively with clients, site contacts, and other contractors on-site.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
• Take responsibility for the development and progression of apprentices or junior technicians under your supervision.
