We are currently seeking to hire a HR Manager on a permanent basis in our People Function based in our new state-of-the-art Harcourt Square Premises on Harcourt Street, Dublin 2.
This role forms an integral part of HR and sits within the HR Operations team. The role requires someone with HR systems / HR Reporting experience, including strong excel knowledge, and employee relations experience.
The ideal candidate should have strong People Skills, be proficient in their technical abilities, and their attention to detail should be at the highest level possible. They should also have a genuine interest in working with data with a view to maximising reporting capabilities across the firm.
We ideally need you to have the following on your CV:
- Third level degree, preferably in HR or related area of study
- Minimum 5+ years experience in a large organisation
- Advanced knowledge of Excel is essential, as well as experience working with MS Office applications
- Success Factors implementation/migration experience would be desirable
- Experience using Microsoft Copilot or other AI tools in a business environment
- Employee relations experience is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills is essential
- Strong team player and flexible in their approach to work
- Excellent communication skills to include written and verbal communication
- Strong administration and support skills with the ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment
Below Will Be Some Of Your Core Responsibilities
Reporting/HR Metrics
- Manage all areas of HR reporting and people metrics for the firm.
- Produce regular and ad hoc reports for the business, including headcount, joiners, leavers, turnover and other workforce data.
- Manage the delivery of quarterly executive reports, including analysis of key trends and insights.
- Complete statutory, regulatory and KPMG Global reporting requirements, including Global KPIs, CSO and Northern Ireland equality reporting.
- Support diversity and ESG reporting and analysis.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR data and identify opportunities to improve and automate reporting processes.
Employee Relations
- Independently manage employee relations cases across a broad spectrum of issues.
- Provide practical and risk-based advice to Partners, Performance Managers and other stakeholders, in line with employment legislation, firm policy and best practice.
- Coach and support managers through formal and informal employee relations processes.
- Prepare and review case documentation, correspondence and recommendations, ensuring records are clear, accurate and appropriately maintained.
- Engage with internal and external legal advisers where appropriate and elevate matters based on their complexity or level of risk.
- Identify employee relations trends and recommend improvements to policies, processes and manager guidance.
Probation Process
- Manage the probation process for new joiners across the firm.
- Oversee the probation system and monitor the timely completion of probation reviews.
- Coach Performance Managers and Partners on probation assessments, feedback conversations and the management of performance concerns.
- Independently manage complex probation cases, including extensions, performance concerns and probationary exits.
- Maintain probation communications, templates and supporting guidance.
- Work with IT and relevant stakeholders to implement system and process improvements.
Performance Management
- Support the delivery of the firm’s Performance Development process.
- Provide guidance to the business on Performance Development requirements, timelines and systems.
- Support Performance Managers in addressing underperformance and managing Performance Improvement Plans.
- Produce Performance Development reports and metrics to support the annual process.
- Liaise with the KPMG Global Performance Development team as required.
- Develop and deliver Performance Development training, both virtually and in person.
General
- Conduct exit interviews and analyse feedback to identify key themes and trends.
- Manage HR input into internal and external audits, regulatory reviews and compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain processes, templates and guidance materials.
- Present at experienced-hire induction and other HR training sessions.
- Manage ongoing and new HR projects as they arise.
- Support HR technology (currently SAP, moving to Success Factors), AI and automation initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve service delivery, reporting and operational processes.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships across the People Function, internal support teams and the wider business.
