Job summary

Dawn Meats Group in Charleville, Co. Cork, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and payroll in a busy manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will manage the full employee lifecycle, ensure GDPR compliance, and apply Irish employment law. A minimum of 2 years in HR is required, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HR systems such as CoreHR / PeopleXD being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Third-level qualification in HR or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in an HR Generalist, HR Officer, HR Coordinator or similar HR role.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment law, HR best practice and GDPR requirements.
• Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, absence management and HR administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with HR systems such as CoreHR / PeopleXD and payroll administration is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support HR operations across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, contracts, induction and offboarding.
• Advise managers and staff on employee relations, absence, performance, and disciplinary processes.
• Assist with work permit administration and pre-employment checks for non-EU recruitment where required.
• Prepare HR reports and workforce data relating to absence, turnover, annual leave and working time compliance.
• Support payroll administration and liaise with payroll and finance on pay-related matters.
• Support HR projects, employee engagement initiatives, graduate recruitment and ethical audit requirements.
