Job summary

Dublin and Dun Laoghaire Education and Training Board is seeking an HR Manager to deliver high quality HR services to managers and staff across 5,100 employees in 95 locations. The role covers industrial relations, workforce planning, payroll, CPD and staff wellbeing.

You will lead a HR team, develop strategic people plans and ensure compliance with employment law and government policies, while supporting organisational development and change.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in HRM or related field.
• Minimum four years senior management HR experience.
• Experience delivering strategic and operational HR initiatives.
• Experience managing industrial relations with trade unions.
• Public sector experience and change management.
• Strong IT and HR analytics capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a HR team.
• Support the ETB Strategic Plan and outcomes.
• Oversee HR records management and payroll processes.
• Lead recruitment and workforce planning in line with policy.
• Guide employee relations and industrial relations activities.
• Oversee compliance with employment law and policies.
• Develop CPD initiatives and staff training programs.
• Support health, safety and wellbeing initiatives.
