At John Sisk & Son, we’re more than a construction company, we’re a family-owned business with a global reach, committed to building excellence in every project. We deliver trust, certainty and value to our clients while embracing innovation and shaping the future of construction.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an organised and proactive HR Coordinator who wants to broaden their HR operational experience and contribute to a responsive, employee-focused service. Reporting to the Senior HR Officer, the HR Coordinator will coordinate core HR operational activities and help deliver a responsive, accurate and consistent service to employees and managers. Working closely with the wider HR team in Ireland, the role will support the full employee lifecycle, maintain high-quality HR data, coordinate payroll and benefits inputs, and contribute to HR initiatives and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will combine strong administration with sound judgement, effective stakeholder communication and a proactive approach to resolving day-to-day queries. In return, you will join an experienced HR team in a well-established international organisation, with opportunities to build broad HR operational experience and contribute to service and process improvements.

  • Coordinate HR casework and requests, tracking actions and following through to completion within agreed timelines.
  • Partner with other departments to deliver a consistent, efficient and employee-focused service.
  • Identify recurring queries, service issues and process gaps, and recommend practical improvements that support a positive and inclusive employee experience.
HR Systems & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate and complete employee data and documentation across HR systems, in line with data protection requirements and internal controls.
  • Complete regular data-quality checks, investigate discrepancies and coordinate corrective action with relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc HR reports and employment information for HR and management purposes, including employment references.
Pay & Benefits
  • Coordinate and validate monthly payroll inputs, ensuring approved changes and supporting documentation are complete, accurate and submitted within deadlines.
  • Administer employee benefits and related enrolment, data processing, documentation and communications, resolving routine queries with providers and employees.

  • Support the review and improvement of HR procedures, templates and guidance materials.
  • Provide cover across the HR Operations team and undertake other duties appropriate to the role.

  • Sound judgement and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive employee information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using HR information systems in a paperless environment; capability in Excel and HR reporting is an advantage.
  • A proactive, collaborative and service-focused approach, with the confidence to take ownership of issues and follow them through to resolution.
