Work Flexibility: Onsite
This role will be based in one of our Cork sites. This co-op position offers students hands‑on experience in a regulated medical device company, supporting HR Business Partners across multiple sites. The student will work on a project that benefits both their academic development and the company and will support on a wide range of HR activities including engagement, employee relations, recruitment, reporting & administration. Throughout the placement, you will be an integral part of Stryker’s 2027 Cooperative cohort.
Tasks may include:
- Identifying a process improvement project along with your Stryker manager and College Supervisor.
- Providing support to the team and department in multiple areas, for example, engagement activities, recruitment, employee relations, administration support, & reporting across multiple sites.
- Supporting the team in HR Generalist activities such as Employee Relations, Comp & bens, general admin etc.
What you will need:
- Currently completing a college qualification in a business discipline, preferably in HR.
- Be interested and enthusiastic about pursuing a career in HR.
- Honesty, Integrity and discretion are essential.
- Self‑motivated, flexible and hardworking.
- Enjoy working in a dynamic, fast and results orientated environment.
- Reliable, dependable and punctual.
- Organised, focused and capable of multi‑tasking.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as a basic level of PC skills.
- Is a team player and capable of working as part of a multi-disciplined team.

Work Flexibility Definitions
- Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.
- Field‑based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field‑based.
- Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad‑hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.
- Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co‑located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
