Job summary

Zurich Insurance Company Limited (Ireland Branch) is seeking an HR Business Consultant to join the ZLAP team for 12 months. The role focuses on employee lifecycle support, HR projects, reporting and analytics across headcount, attrition, absence, diversity, recruitment, training and workforce planning.

You will work closely with HR Business Partners, HR Operations and stakeholders to deliver accurate HR processes, governance and continuous improvement, with a primary location of Blackrock,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an HR role, HR coordination or HR Business Partnering support.
• Strong understanding of core HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
• Experience supporting HR projects and annual HR processes in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the HR Business Partnering team with generalist HR activity across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding.
• Assist with annual HR cycles such as performance reviews, salary reviews and diversity initiatives.
• Provide practical HR support to managers and employees, ensuring processes align with Zurich policies.
• Prepare HR documentation, trackers and analyses to support decision-making and governance.
• Maintain regular HR reports and people metrics (headcount, attrition, absence, diversity, recruitment and training).
• Monitor HR trends to identify themes, risks and opportunities for the Life leadership team.
• Maintain Excel-based HR trackers and reporting tools for day-to-day activity and planning.
• Contribute to people sustainability by using data-driven insights to support workforce development.
