Job summary

Ruby Hotels is seeking a friendly, detail‑oriented team member to join our housekeeping team in Dublin. You’ll spend most of your time on the floor ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet our high standards and you’ll substitute for the Housekeeping Operations Manager when needed.

You'll train and coach the team, coordinate with internal staff and external cleaners, and work closely with hosts and maintenance to make guests feel at home in a lively, international environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the same position.
• Passion for cleanliness and order with a keen eye for detail.
• Presenting yourself confidently, bringing joy to the workplace; humour is second nature.
• Enjoying working with international guests and meeting diverse needs.
• Speaking English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Spend most of your time on the floor, checking the cleanliness of hotel rooms and public areas.
• Substitute the Housekeeping Operations Manager during their absence.
• Share responsibility for the housekeeping team, including internal staff and external cleaning companies.
• Train and coach the team, ensuring established quality standards are maintained.
• Assist in coordinating external cleaning companies, handling orders, and checking delivery bills.
• Work with hosts and hotel maintenance to fulfil guests' wishes.
