Job summary

City Break Apartments Ltd in Dublin is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance, repair and refurbishment of its serviced apartments and facilities, ensuring high standards and safe, comfortable accommodation for guests.

The role combines hands-on tasks with supervision of maintenance teams and contractors, coordinating schedules, managing costs and preventive maintenance, and upholding health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in building, property or facilities maintenance.
• Experience supervising maintenance teams and contractors.
• Hands-on skills in painting, carpentry, plumbing or electrical tasks.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise maintenance, repair and refurbishment works across apartments and communal areas.
• Coordinate maintenance staff, contractors and suppliers to ensure timely, high-quality work.
• Inspect properties, identify defects and arrange necessary repairs.
• Carry out hands-on tasks including painting, drywall repairs, tiling, carpentry, minor plumbing and basic electrical maintenance.
• Coordinate apartment maintenance and preparation between guest stays.
• Manage maintenance materials, equipment, costs and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and maintain records.
• Liaise with management regarding maintenance priorities, progress and expenditure.
