Job summary

The Address Cork in Cork city seeks a reliable Kitchen Hygiene Operative to join our hotel team. You will ensure high hygiene standards across all kitchen areas and assist with HACCP tasks and daily cleaning duties.

Responsibilities include cleaning fridges, ovens and storage areas, maintaining personal hygiene, reporting faults, and adhering to health and safety policies with provided PPE.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and dress code throughout the shift.
• Complete HACCP checklist and ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
• Clean fridges, ovens, food mixers and stores.
• Carry out pot washing and cleaning of area surrounds.
• Empty bins, manage refuse sacks and keep bins/area tidy.
• Carry out thorough deep cleaning as per cleaning schedule.
• Report damaged equipment to head chef/manager on duty.
• Attend training sessions/meetings as required.
