Job summary

Nuremore Estate by McGettigan's seeks an experienced Financial Controller to manage the full financial function of a 4-star hotel in Monaghan, Ireland. You report to the General Manager and Owner, and will guide financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, payroll oversight and cash flow management.

You will work with department heads to drive profitability across Rooms, Food & Beverage, and events, while ensuring compliance with Irish revenue requirements and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Senior finance professional with hands-on experience in hospitality finance.
• Experience in financial controls, budgeting and year-end reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Revenue requirements and payroll compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis.
• Manage cash flow, banking, and vendor payments.
• Oversee payroll, cost control and departmental profitability.
• Coordinate year-end audit with external accountants.
