Job summary

Dromoland Castle Resort is seeking a hardworking and organised individual for our Purchasing Department. The successful candidate will support day-to-day purchasing tasks, supplier negotiations, order processing and stock control in a fast-paced five-star hospitality environment.

Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in purchasing or related roles, experience with Opera and Procure Wizard, strong numerical abilities and excellent IT skills, including Excel and Word, and the ability to

Qualifications

• 2+ years in purchasing, procurement, accounts payable or similar administrative role.
• Experience with Opera and Procure Wizard is essential.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Research suppliers and negotiate best value for price, quality and service.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Enter and maintain accurate order information in purchasing systems.
• Monitor Procure Wizard orders and adjust quantities or source alternatives.
• Source new products and obtain competitive quotations from suppliers.
• Maintain supplier relations and monitor market price fluctuations for cost savings.
