Job summary

Life Science Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Manager to cover the Munster region, focusing on hospitals and secondary care. You will build relationships with ophthalmology, gastroenterology, urology, neurology, maternity and paediatrics, promoting Eyecare, nutrition and probiotic brands.

You will conduct sales calls, deliver defined objectives, manage CRM data, plan territory actions, and work with Sales, Marketing and the line manager to maximise commercial results.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in healthcare/science (preferably).
• Proven track record in sales, ideally in hospitals.
• Understanding of Eyecare, nutrition and probiotics is a plus.
• Ability to interpret sales data and trends.
• Proficient PC skills and CRM usage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales, activity and other objectives for the territory.
• Conduct sales calls with hospital departments and specialists.
• Present products in a range of formats to clinicians.
• Allocate promotional spend to target customers and events.
• Maintain CRM data and provide territory performance insights.
• Plan territory activities and monitor budgets.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager, Marketing and colleagues.
