Job summary

Responsibilities

• Serve patient meals and restaurant service in a safe and courteous manner
• Follow HACCP systems and assist with health and safety compliance
• Assist with ward menu distribution and inform kitchen of final counts
• Monitor fridge and hot/cold food temperatures and report discrepancies
• Liaise with nurses and dietitians regarding special diets, allergens or fasting lists
• Order weekly stock and ensure stock rotation per hospital policy
• Set up patient trays and maintain a clean kitchen and dining area
• Complete charts and report hazards or faulty equipment to supervisor
• Act as cashier in restaurant setting and handle customer interactions
• Participate in training including manual handling and fire safety
