Job summary

Health Care Assistant – Carlow is a permanent role with full-time or part-time opportunities in Carlow, Ireland. The Healthcare assistant delivers personal care to clients in their own homes, following care plans to promote comfort and wellbeing.

Main duties include assisting with daily living activities, following care plans, and delivering care per company standards. Flexible hours and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 modules in Care Skills or Care of the Older Person (or Healthcare Support) or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of caring experience and willingness to complete QQI Level 5 modules.
• Access to a car and full driver’s licence required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and daily living activities in their own homes.
• Follow individual care plans and promote clients' comfort, dignity and wellbeing.
• Deliver care in line with company policies and standards.
